FlashSpec as a Winamp plugin
Currently FlashSpec is only available on Windows as a Plugin for Winamp. This means you will have to download and install Winamp from http://www.winamp.com/ (free version is available).
The reason for using winamp as the base platform is to provide support for a huge range of audio formats. The plugin can handle all files that winamp can read. Another advantage is that it allows you to get immediate visual feedback while checking the audio file. You can see the frequency bands you selected displayed in real time as the data file is created.
