Features of FlashSpec
Since Flash does not allow access to any spectrum data of any sound files it plays, external data sources have to be used to be able to synchronize animations to sound files.
FlashSpec allows you to analyze sound files and export the spectrum data values to files that can then be access from Flash.
FlashSpec settings
You have a choice of logging up to 20 frequency bands. Frequency settings can be saved to be retrieved again later.
The data that is logged can be adjusted to and normalized depending on what teh application requires.
If VU data is required that can be logged as well in addition to the normal data logging.
Update rate should be set to the fps that your flash file is set to.
